Bluestockings Cooperative has helped organize the return of the LES Halloween Book Crawl, happening this Sunday, October 30th from 12-7pm. There are six participating local bookshops: Bluestockings (116 Suffolk St.), McNally Jackson (52 Prince St.), Pillow Cat Books (328 East 9th St.), Sweet Pickle Books (47 Orchard St.), Yu & Me Bookstore (44 Mulberry St.), and Book Club Bar (197 E 3rd St.). Each location promises “Free Treats!” and “Exclusive Discounts!”
People are invited to visit anytime between noon and 7pm and are encouraged to wear costumes. Sweet Pickle Books will be hosting a costume contest.
