- Arts For Art kicks off its free InGardens Fall 2023 concert series tomorrow, Sept. 4th (Labor Day) at Children’s Magical Garden (129 Stanton St.) starting at 2:00pm.
- NADA House 2023 just opened at Governor’s Island (along with a slew of other exhibits by community organizations). The collaborative exhibition brings together 26 art galleries and art spaces to present 26 artists, with participants engaging the unique character of the 19th century former military residence and exhibiting work in a diverse range of mediums.
- Storefront for Art and Architecture hosts a Direct Action Film Night with a lineup of Bank invasion shorts and the US premiere of Earth Riot, a film by Immo Klink, featuring Reverend Billy, Savitri D and The Stop Shopping Choir, Friday, Sept. 8th at 7:00pm.
- Hyperfocus: A Neurodivergent Comedy Show comes to Caveat on Weds., Sept. 13th at 9:30pm. Hyperfixation is an intense, single-minded focus on a specific topic or task, and New York City’s best neurodivergent comedians gather for one night to share the wealth of their super niche knowledge.
