Under The Radar Festival Returns in Person

After two pandemic-filled years away, The Public Theater’s 18th Annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL returns with in-person performances this January. The international festival highlights new and experimental theater from around the world. This year it will take place over 19 days at 6 venues featuring over 36 artists from 9 different countries. 

Along with The Public and Joe’s Pub, shows will debut at additional Partner Venues, including: Chelsea Factory, NYU Skirball, La MaMa, BAM, and The NYPL’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library. 

Shows at The Public will include Jasmine Lee-Jones’ SEVEN METHODS OF KILLING KYLIE JENNER, coming from the Royal Court Theatre in the U.K., OUR COUNTRY by Annie Saunders and Becca Wolff, OTTO FRANK by Roger Guenveur Smith, and Rachel Mars’ YOUR SEXTS ARE SHIT: OLDER BETTER LETTERS.

At Joe’s Pub, five artists will be showcasing their musical talents in “showstopping, joyful, hilarious, and inventive performances”: Eszter Balint, Negin Farsad, Julian Fleisher, Salty Brine, and Migguel Anggelo.
