–The commanding officer of the 7th Precinct says violence between rival gangs on the Lower East Side has subsided following the arrest of a local rapper. [New York Post]

–Cops are looking for a suspect who struck a 2-year-old boy with his scooter at the intersection of East Houston Street and Suffolk Street and then took off. [Channel 7]

–Hypebeast opens its new headquarters, which includes a retail store, in Chinatown. The streetwear media platform, “sought out Chinatown as the neighborhood for the new headquarters of Hypebeast America because of its local art scene, its proximity to SoHo, and, in the spirit of the brand, it’s unpredictable.” [The New York Times]
