NYC Parks and NYC Department of Design and Construction are partnering with local organizations to host a Community Day celebrating the opening of East River Park Phase 1 this Sunday, September 28, from 12pm – 5pm. FAB NYC, GOLES, the LES Ecology Center, and many more will be on hand to lead a parade over Corlears Hook Bridge, offer a guided native plant and stewardship walk and present live music and performances.
