As part of The Action Lab’s “Liberation Summer programming,” ‘Sembrando Resistencia’ continues its celebration of Loisaida’s Puerto Rican community gardens this weekend with discussions led by founders and leaders, archival footage, and oral mapping workshops. There will also be live music at the historic Plaza Cultural Garden, honoring “vital cultural spaces reclaimed by community organization and grassroots collective action.”
