Canadian Wildfires Causing a Smoky Skyline and Air Quality Alerts

Thanks to Pat Arnow for sending this photo of a smoky skyline view from the Lower East Side. The neighborhood air quality is the worst it’s been in a very long time and the wind seems to be making it worse, if anything. There is an “Unhealthy” Air Quality Alert in effect until midnight tonight, advising everyone to reduce their time outdoors.
