El Castillo de Jagua 2, a beloved local Dominican restaurant located on Grand Street, looks to be shuttered due to back taxes. A seizure sign was seen by Lilah Mejia, who first posted it on Instagram.
May 12 We received an update from El Castillo this afternoon, along with the photo above. They are back in business. They will reopen tomorrow at 8am. They write: “Thank you so much and for everyone’s support. We are ready to serve our community.”
