The Lower East Side Film Festival has announced its lineup for their upcoming screening and event extravaganza. The 12th annual fest will be held in-person July 7th – 11th at Village East Cinema, with online streaming available through July 17th.
Highlights include an opening night selection of “I Love NY” short films and a collaboration with CinemaAid Ukraine, featuring a unique showcase of World Premiere shorts from Ukrainian filmmakers both in Ukraine, and around the globe. Complimentary beer & wine will be served along with snacks provided by beloved East Village restaurant, Veselka.
The team has collaborated with Bronx Brewery Tap Room in the East Village to craft a custom beer called Passion Project Pale Ale, a passion fruit infused pale ale, brewed specifically for the 2022 festival. The limited release beer will be available for FREE at all screenings. The ale is “brewed in honor of every filmmaker’s labor of love.”
