Police are looking for a suspect who robbed Seward Park Liquors on Ludlow Street yesterday, and attacked a store clerk.

The man walked into the shop at around 12:45 p.m. and, according to security camera video, began taking wine bottles off the shelves, throwing them at the store employee. According to police, he took $200 from the register and fled. The victim was treated for injuries.

Cops think the same suspect targeted a store on LaGuardia Place about an hour later. Two victims were hospitalized after the man beat them and started throwing glass and ceramic jars.

The suspect is described as a black man, 45 to 60 years old, with a bald head.  During the Lower East Side robbery, he wore an orange tank top, blue jeans and red sneakers. In the Greenwich Village incident, he wore an orange baseball cap, an orange t-shirt and blue jeans. You can see security camera video here.

Seward Park Liquors relocated to 53 Ludlow St. in the past month after more than four decades on Grand Street.
