If you’re looking for a job, 2018 is shaping up as an unprecedented year for opportunities on the Lower East Side. NYU Langone, Target, Regal Cinemas and Trader Joe’s are all staffing up as they prepare to open in the big Essex Crossing development. There are also two new hotels opening on the Bowery this year.
With these new opportunities in mind, the Lower East Side Employment Network is holding a Training Fair this coming Wednesday, March 14. It will take place between 6-8 p.m. at 301 Henry St. There will be guest speakers from Hotel Indigo and the Pod Hotel in Brooklyn. You’ll hear success stories from people who have used the employment services available from the members of the LES Employment Network. And career coaches will be on hand to offer guidance.
