Last summer, a fairly new investment company, Four Winds Real Estate, picked up a six-story walkup at 207 Madison St. for $8.5 million. All of a sudden this modest building seems a whole lot fancier.
Miron Properties has a stand-alone website to promote the tenement. The address is being billed as “the epicenter of vitality and cool” with “amazingly appointed floor plans to suit every need and amenities galore.” According to the site, the building includes a co-working space and a game room.
There’s a renovated 2-bedroom unit currently listed on Streeteasy for $3600 (up $900 from a 2013 listing). They’re throwing in one-month free.
At the time it was sold, the building included 22 apartments. A restaurant, El Castillo de Madison, is on the ground floor. Last year, Commercial Observer reported that the restaurant paid $47/sq. ft. on a lease that expires in 2018.
So we have until 2018 to enjoy El Castillo de Madison.
Huh? They aint been here long enough when the guns go a blazin. Its still gangster over here. Dont let a game room fool you.
