There are a few noteworthy topics on the agenda of Community Board 3’s transportation committee tonight.  The panel will take up a proposal  to co-name the southeast corner of Orchard and Delancey streets “Sol Moscot Way,” in honor of the iconic LES eyewear company. Given the controversy surrounding the proposed Beastie Boys street co-naming campaign, it could be a tough sell.  Also, there will be a presentation from the Department of Transportation on changes meant to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow at Bowery and Delancey. Finally, the committee will take up two new intercity bus stop applications.  See the agenda below.
