283 Grand Fire – the Aftermath

This morning, Grand Street between Allen and Forsyth is still blocked off, after last night’s 7 alarm fire. Onlookers are gathered at the intersection of Grand and Forsyth, as police direct traffic. Fire Chief Edward Kilduff (via WCBS) said two elderly residents were hospitalized in critical condition with smoke inhalation and a third was being evaluated. He said 10 firefighters were hurt, including one whose hands were burned. Nine others suffered minor injuries. More to come…
