We previously mentioned that Yep Tours, a rogue Chinatown bus operator, would be asking Community Board 3 this month for a permit at 2 Pike St. The application was supposed to be considered tomorrow evening. But according to the SPaCE Block Association, it’s been delayed until Nov. 15.
Yep has, of course, been operating illegally from Pike Street for a long time. The block association strongly opposes legitimizing the company’s illegal behavior. An online petition opposing the permit has 177 signatures. If you’d like to add your name, click here.
