Here are some upcoming events that are on our radar:

  • Arts on Site screens Ferris Bueller’s Day Off for Community Movie Night on February 8th at 7:30pm. $10 Donation, Popcorn & BYOB or Donation Bar at 12 St. Marks Place.
  • Essex Market welcomes Jon Kung, acclaimed chef and podcast host to celebrate the release of his debut cookbook Kung Food: Chinese American Recipes from a Third Culture Kitchen on Tuesday, February 13th at 6pm, as part of Essex Market’s Talk & Taste series in partnership with Kitchen Arts and Letters and Edible Manhattan. Kung will be in conversation with food writer Farideh Sadeghin.
  • The Clemente hosts a celebration of their partnership with Logic(s)/Incite Designer-in-Residence Bones Jones (founder and creative director of House of Bones) on Saturday, February 10th at 7:00pm. Bones Jones has remade Studio 406 into “a space where creatives and intellectuals can come together to think, party, and collaborate- directed towards an expansive world of Black, brown, queer, and other dispossessed creators and thinkers.”
  • ICP offers their first free Third Thursday Late Night ICP of the year on February 15th at 6pm – 9pm. You can hop in the pop-up portrait studio after checking out their two new exhibitions ICP at 50: From the Collection, 1845–2019 and David Seidner: Fragments 1977–99
