Here’s an event that was supposed to take place last week but was postponed due to the rain. Parents and students from District 1 are planning a “March For Our Schools & Our Lives” this coming Thursday, Sept. 17. They’ll begin at 7th Street and Avenue B and then make a stop at P.S. 20 (Essex Street and Houston Street) before heading over to Foley Square. The group is calling for “a major public school investment to reopen safely.”
