The NYPD’s hate crimes unit is looking into who was responsible for some graffiti that was scrawled on the facade of Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem, the yeshiva at 147 East Broadway.
The Yeshiva World reported that the explicit graffiti was left on the building during Shabbos, on Saturday. Police are trying to track down security camera video. Via Twitter, the mayor confirmed the investigation by the Hate Crimes Unit, and encouraged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
