A Lower East Side tattoo parlor is receiving a ton of attention after Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson got a Hillary Clinton tattoo there.
On Friday, Davidson posted a photo on his Instagram account and a caption that read, “Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift so I got a tattoo of my hero. Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe.” He credited Jon Mesa of No Idols Tattoo on the Bowery. Us Weekly got in touch with Mesa, who confirmed “Yes, its real! Just did it last night at my shop No Idols Tattoo on Bowery and Grand! It’s a small one on his right leg,”
Clinton later chimed in on Instagram, saying “Thanks. This makes it significantly less awkward that I’ve had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years. But seriously, I’m honored. Merry Christmas, my friend.”
