Here are a few photos from Nancy Ortiz. Emergency crews this morning were dealing with a water main break on Madison Street at Montgomery Street.
We’re told water service to the Vladeck Houses and the Gouverneur Gardens housing complex was impacted, but that service is now being restored.
UPDATE: Some residents were without water throughout the weekend. Bottled water was being passed out yesterday, and Henry Street Settlement opened one of its buildings so people could use the bathrooms. We’re told service was restored to all of the impacted buildings this morning (Monday).
