If you have something to say about service on the M14a bus line, tomorrow night is your opportunity. At Community Board 3’s transportation committee meeting, there will be a presentation from State Sen. Daniel Squadron’s office about efforts to improve service. For years, locals have been calling on the MTA to add more 14a buses. Here’s the notice from CB3:
At its July 2017 meeting, Community Board 3’s Transportation, Public Safety & Environment Committee will be featuring a presentation from the Office of New York State Senator Daniel Squadron regarding his ongoing efforts to encourage the MTA to improve M14A bus service in our community. In connection with the presentation, the Committee is seeking comments from the community regarding the adequacy, frequency, and reliability of M14A bus service. Whether the Committee takes further action on this issue will largely depend on what we hear from the community we represent. As such, if this is an important issue to you, please plan to attend the Committee’s July 11th meeting.
In November of last year, Squadron asked the MTA for a “full line review” of the 14a and 14d bus lines. The meeting will be held at Downtown Art, 70 East 4th St., at 6:45 p.m.
