A few days ago, it became known that the former Germania Bank Building at 190 Bowery was sold to developer Aby Rosen for $55 million. The longtime home and studio of photographer Jay Maisel has always been the subject of neighborhood curiosity. In the past day, a rare video inside the building has been making the rounds.

Rosen is marketing the building for resale. 190 Bowery has been a New York City landmark since 2005.
