The mayor discusses the future of NYCHA (City & State).

Nice link with two of these stories: L&M, the company that destroyed Esperanza Garden to build luxury condos, has now acquired a 50% stake in a half dozen of NYCHA’s Section 8 properties – nearly 900 apartments -without a transparent process. (is Borough President Brewer the only one who noticed?). L&M has a raft of complaints as landlord…Does not inspire confidence in their management of these new, previously public, properties.
L&M needs to be investigated. If you tracked developer with construction complaint in newly built and refurbished buildings by L&M, BFC you will find the tale of two cities of corruption.
