An 87-year old woman was killed overnight during a fire at the Vladeck Houses. The blaze broke out at about 1 a.m. at 345 Madison St. According to firefighters, they found the woman in her apartment after the fire was extinguished.
Investigators are still working on finding out what caused the fire. The victim’s name has not been released.
