Police are looking for three suspects who put a resident of a Lower East Side building in a chokehold until he passed out — and then robbed him.

They released these photos from surveillance cameras yesterday. The incident happened inside an elevator at 240 Madison St. — the La Guardia Houses — at about 11:10 p.m. on November 23. According to investigators, one of the suspects grabbed the victim from behind as the elevator stopped on the 13th floor. After the 45-year old man passed out, he was robbed of $420, an iphone and credit cards.
The victim was taken to New York Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital to be checked out; he was okay. Channel 7 reported he lives with his daughter and grandchildren. Residents told a reporter the security cameras were just installed a month ago.
