Roni-Sue’s Chocolates is expanding its Lower east Side profile.
In addition to her stall in the Essex Street Market, Roni-Sue is opening a full brick-and mortar production facility and retail operation at 148 Forsyth St. The awning went up this morning. At the market, she’ll be swapping spaces with Porto Rico Coffee, which has wanted a high profile. Since she won’t be making chocolates and other goodies in the market anymore, Roni-Sue didn’t need such a large space.
Roni-Sue starred in our MY LES feature back in February. She’s planning a grand opening celebration October 14.
