A tip came in this morning concerning a shooting last night on Essex Street near Stanton. A resident said he was awakened by three gunshots.
The victim was tended to by paramedics on the scene before they placed him in an ambulance, our tipster said.
Police tell us no one was actually injured in the incident. Witnesses told them it was preceded by an argument involving five people. The victim has not been cooperative, police say.
