Faith leaders and community members will gather for a prayer vigil on Saturday, February 26 at 1pm, at the basketball courts at Sara D. Roosevelt Park (Chrystie Street and Grand Street) to honor the spirit of the woman who was recently killed on Chrystie Street.
The event is organized in partnership with the New York Coalition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Churches. They write: “This will be a contemplative, healing space for our community to lament, remember and find hope.”
All faiths and backgrounds are welcome.
