A little while ago, we took a walk up Orchard Street to check up on the setup for DayLife, the LES BID’s street festival taking place from noon-5 p.m. today. You can see the pushcarts positioned on the sidewalk, the astro turf and tables and chairs. DayLife includes DJ’s, live music, lots of food, items from many Lower East Side shops, a skateboard ramp and ping pong. The fun gets underway in just about an hour.
