As previously noted, there was a protest at Cooper Union yesterday, after it was announced that the school will begin charging graduate students tuition. 23-year old Jesse Kreuzer climbed on top of the Peter Cooper Monument on East 7th Street, and remained there for 40 minutes before police pulled him down.  Kreuzer was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal trespassing and obstructing governmental administration.  More photos from the protest on Tim Schreier’s flickr page.
