A “Missing Senior Notification’ has been issued for this man, 91-year old Leon Schreiber. Police say he was last seen near Grand Street and Jackson Street around 3 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Schreiber was wearing a black blazer, brown pants, a white shirt and a black hat. He’s 5’2” and 150 pounds. Mr. Schreiber is reported to have dementia and Alzheimer’s. If you have seen him, call 1-800-577-TIPS.
UPDATE 4/9/2012 6:27 a.m. Mr. Schreiber has been found.
Hope they find him ok, he did our carpet years ago, he’s a camp survivor as well I think. I’m gonna look for him.
It’s heartbreaking to think of what could befall him and also the fact that he was apparently “alone” in the world. Â Then to hear about his past; well, it truly makes me cry.
