A “Missing Senior Notification’ has been issued for this man, 91-year old Leon Schreiber. Police say he was last seen near Grand Street and Jackson Street around 3 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Schreiber was wearing a black blazer, brown pants, a white shirt and a black hat. He’s 5’2” and 150 pounds. Mr. Schreiber is reported to have dementia and Alzheimer’s. UPDATE 4/9/2012 6:27 a.m. Mr. Schreiber has been found.
Hope they find him ok, he did our carpet years ago, he’s a camp survivor as well I think. I’m gonna look for him.
It’s heartbreaking to think of what could befall him and also the fact that he was apparently “alone” in the world. Then to hear about his past; well, it truly makes me cry.
