  • Today the City Council will hold a hearing addressing the NYPD’s traffic accident investigations, which many pedestrian and bike advocates have criticized.  Among the cases in which no charges were filed: the crash that killed bicyclist Jeffrey Axelrod on Delancey Street last year (Metro Focus).
  • Jeremy Lin will be trading the couch in his brother’s Lower East Side apartment for a “swanky bachelor pad” in, gasp!, White Plains (Daily News).
