Juice Bar, Grocery Reopening at 1 Essex

A few weeks ago, we noted the juice bar and fruit stand that had been operating at 1 Essex (Essex & Canal) for the past year seemed to have gone out of business. But in the past couple of days, there’s been new activity at this location. The metal gate has been raised in front of the juice bar and two guys were working inside. This morning, they indicated the businesses would be reopening soon, although the former produce stand will evidently morph into a grocery with a wider selection of products. When asked whether there had been an ownership change, one of the workers said, “it’s the same but different.” What does that mean? Your guess is as good as mine.
