Community Board Applications Now Being Accepted

If you’re interested in joining a community board, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer is now accepting applications. Half of all seats are up for appointment next April. The deadline to apply is January 14th.  If you’re so inclined, take a look at the application and the requirements on Stringer’s web site.  Interested in knowing more about how community boards work? A good first step is to attend a monthly meeting in the neighborhood. The next time CB3’s full board meets is December 21st at 630pm, at P.S. 20 (166 Essex Street).
