This just in from the Hester Street Fair:
As many of you may already know, the Hester Street Fair will be closing down for the season this Sunday, October 31st… We’ll be back open next year in April, but there are lots of really interesting Hester Street Fair productions planned for the winter season. We are gearing up for a big indoor pop up Holiday Market December 17-23 at Open House Gallery on 201 Mulberry Street. You’ll see many of your favorite HSF vendors, lots of new sellers specializing in hand made, unique one-of-a-kind gift items and of course a fantastically yummy food court. This is the anti-mall, anti-franchise, anti-hum bug experience.
So, this weekend we’d like to invite everyone to come hang out as we close out the season. We’re bringing in more food than normal all weekend long, many of who are back from our big Grub Street Food Festival and of course, HALLLOOOWWEEEN! On Sunday, Seward Park Coop will be throwing a big Halloween party and everyone’s invited! Starting at 2pm with a Halloween Parade that will march down East Broadway. Come join in the fun–haunted graveyard, a bouncy house, face painting, pumpkin patch and much more. Tickets are $9 for Halloween Carnival and of course the Fair is free admission as always.
