We can’t promise that your day will end with a spectacular rainbow over the LES, but it’s going to be a nice fall day nonetheless. 75 degrees and partly sunny. Tonight, there’s an opening reception and presentation for “On the Bowery,” an historical exhibit from the Lower East Side History Project and the Bowery Alliance of Neighbors at Whole Foods.  On The Lo-Down, we’ll have a report from last night’s CB3 meeting on proposed changes to liquor licensing policies. Also, the Shuang Wen School lunched a major offensive against NY1 yesterday. We’ll have that story. And an early look at some of the Halloween-themed events on the Lower East Side. Enjoy the day.
