A concerned reader alerted us of a possible tragedy after learning that Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery on Rivington St. was closed (keep the good tips coming, concerned readers!) She asked us to investigate after hearing there was a note on the door from a "former" customer, begging them to re-open.
After quickly investigating, we are happy to report this sweet tooth haven for gluten and dairy eating rebels just went on vacation for a week. They will re-open tomorrow.
