Lower East Side Voices: Mobilizing to Help Puerto Rico

Beginning today, The Lo-Down is bringing back our occasional series, Lower East Side Voices, which highlights stories from the neighborhood’s diverse communities. It’s a collaboration with CUNY Journalism School’s NY City News Service. People on the LES have been mobilizing to help Puerto Rico recover from the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
