Here’s an afternoon oddity. There was a giant banner hanging from the Manhattan Bridge today featuring Vladimir Putin, along with text that read, “Peacemaker.”
Gothamist has been all over the story. The banner apparently went up shortly before 2 p.m. and was gone just before 3 p.m. At the moment, the culprit is unknown.
