A few minutes ago, a bicyclist was rushed to the hospital after an accident on Allen Street. According to witnesses, the young woman, probably in early 20’s, was riding southbound in the bike lane just before Grand Street when she wobbled and then fell into a lane of oncoming traffic. They said she was struck by a truck and seriously injured. The driver of the truck stopped and remains on the scene this afternoon. More details as they become available.
