Fallen branches on Rutgers Street.

Just above South Street, on Rutgers Street, the storm snapped tree branches, partially obstructing the sidewalk and roadway.

And on the East River walkway, there were lots of curious onlookers anxious to get a glimpse of the monster storm churning in the Atlantic.  More photos after the jump.

Police and emergency crews responded to the C-Town on Pearl Street where debris blew from the building adjacent the Smith public housing development.
