The guys at Lost Weekend at 45 Orchard Street are serving up coffee with the help of a propane grill.

Corner Grocers, at Orchard and Rivington is open. People are milling about the aisles in search of canned food, water, batteries.

Quite a scene on the Williamsburg Bridge foot path this morning. Lots of people hoofing it to and from Brooklyn.

Around a dozen people are standing in line outside the Rite Aid on Grand Street. Shoppers are being allowed inside one by one.

There's already a healthy line outside Fine Fare on Clinton Street. Workers are bringing provisions, water and bread, out to customers.

A bodega on Division Street powered lights with a van's engine and stayed open last night.

The westbound lane of East Broadway is still blocked by a fallen tree at Pitt Street.
