–An especially bad recent accident involving mopeds on the Manhattan Bridge highlights the increasing dangers for delivery workers, bicyclists and pedestrians. The mopeds aren’t allowed on the bike paths, but many delivery workers say they avoid the roadway because it’s even more dangerous. [Streetsblog]

–A woman sitting in a car on Orchard Street was shot on Saturday. Police do not believe she was the intended target. [New York Post]
