359 Grand St.

There’s a new dining option on Grand Street. In the same stretch that includes Kossar’s, the Pickle Guys and Doughnut Plant, Friedman’s opened for business in the past week.

Friedman’s is a mini-chain with 9 locations across the city, including in the Edison Hotel in Times square, where Cafe Edison used to be. It’s an all-day restaurant with a diverse menu, including many gluten free options.

Offerings range from a pastrami sandwiches ($18) to a fried chicken platter ($17), fish tacos ($15), roasted salmon ($21) and a Cobb salad ($15). There’s also a drink list, including cocktails, beer and wine. You can see the full menu here.

This location has tables out front as we head into the warmer weather, as well as a patio in the back. There’s online ordering via Seamless, Toast, etc.
