Bob Krasner caught actress-writer-director Natasha Lyonne and crew filming a scene for season two of her Netflix hit, Russian Doll, on Avenue A last week. In a story for AMNY, he noted, “Much of season one was filmed in the East Village and it looks like they are repeating that strategy. Lyonne plays Nadia Vulvokov, a game developer who repeatedly dies and relives the same night in an ongoing time loop while trying to solve it. The show’s first season received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Lyonne.
