Burglary at Grand Street Settlement’s Rutgers Community Center

Here is a media alert about a burglary that took place at Grand St. Settlement’s Rutgers Community Center located in the Rutgers Houses at 200 Madison St. This weekend someone broke into the community center, which had been working to provide meals during the emergency and normally serves hundreds of youth every week. The thief stole over $5,000 worth of computers and equipment. We’re currently working with the NYPD in their investigation into the crime. We’ve attached a screenshot of one of the individuals involved from our security cameras.
