In a hard-to-miss move, the new artistic director of the men’s wear at fashion house Louis Vuitton has painted the entire north-east corner (both inside and out) of Rivington and Ludlow streets in neon-green. Life-size mannequins, molded after Louis Vuitton models, also doused in green, are propped up throughout the store. If you want to visit, you’ll apparently have to wait in line for an hour or two before being escorted in.
The event is a dramatic way to promote the men’s Fall 2019 Collection, but it will only last through July 21st, or until all the product is gone, so run on over and grab that shearling overcoat for a mere $18,600, Lower East Siders!
