Taking advantage of brighter, longer days and that glowing summer sunshine, the Museum at Eldridge has added “Early Mornings at Eldridge” to their schedule for the next few Tuesdays.
They write:
Experience the sanctuary in a new whole light! The Museum at Eldridge Street will open its doors an hour early, at 9:00 am, to invite you to ease into the day in a special way. As the sun rises in the east, it shines directly into our Kiki Smith and Deborah Gans stained glass window, bathing the sanctuary in a gentle, glowing light. With no tours or programs, this will be a time to look, reflect and be inspired. Photographers and visual artists will find the morning light especially appealing and are encouraged to take advantage by sketching, taking photos, etc. Your ticket for early admission guarantees you a guided tour that day, beginning with regular Museum hours at 10:00 a.m.
