THIRD STREET SUMMER CAMP – a music and play filled summer experience for kids 18 months to 4+ Years Â
Learn about instruments large and small. Get ready to splash in the sprinkler, dig in the garden, cook, build and paint. All this, plus music and movement classes, adds up to a fun-filled summer! Third Street Summer Camp offers three 2-week sessions with classes for toddlers through 5-year-olds. All full-day campers enjoy lunch followed by a quiet break before the afternoon. Third Street’s experienced preschool teachers will brighten your summer.

For Kids and youth 6 -18, Third Street has fabulous performing arts workshops in music and dance. Each program offers students the ability to deepen their skills, work in groups and ensembles, and be a part of the lively Third Street arts community.Â
CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOP Ages 7 – 18 | Monday – Friday | June 27 – July 12, 2019 (Except July 4-5) 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Great for students wishing to advance their chamber music skills or those who are new to playing in a small ensemble, students enjoy summertime camaraderie in this robust program. Open to piano, strings, winds & brass, voice, and guitar students from elementary to advanced levels. The workshop offers daily coachings with outstanding chamber music faculty, individual practice, master classes, movement, improvisation, music-focused field trips, and other supplemental activities. The workshop culminates in two performances.

Thursday, July 11 at 12:30-1:30 pm for the Music in Abe Lebewohl Park series
Friday, July 12 at 5:30-7:00 pm at Third Street’s Anna-Maria Kellen Concert Hall
Audition is required for new students prior to registration.Â

PIANO ENSEMBLE WORKSHOP Ages 6 – 18 | Monday – Friday | July 15 – July 26, 2019 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
This workshop, for piano students with a minimum of one year of individual piano instruction, focuses on participating in piano ensembles of all sizes. Each student is assigned to both classical repertoire and jazz improvisation ensembles. Students benefit from daily coachings, supervised practice, master classes, performance opportunities, and attend musical field trips. Chorus, Composition, and Music Technology are also included in the daily activities. Audition is not required.

DANCE WORKSHOP Ages 6 –18 | Monday – Friday | July 15 – August 2, 2019 Junior and Senior Divisions: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
This high-energy summer intensive program is for students with a minimum of one year of experience. Featuring classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop and African Dance, students take daily technique classes, create and rehearse new works, develop confidence, and make lasting friendships. The workshop culminates with a performance that showcases our students’ amazing accomplishments!

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP Ages 9 – 14 | Monday – Friday | August 5 – August 9, 2019
9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Students explore the fundamentals of musical theatre in a nurturing and supportive environment as they hone their acting and singing skills and learn theatre style dance. The workshop will culminate in a revue performance of scenes from both classical and contemporary musicals! No experience necessary.
