The storefront on the southwest corner of Clinton and Rivington streets went dark many months ago. Now a new Italian cafe, Bricia Lower East Side, is open for business at 79 Clinton St.
The debut menu includes a selection of sandwiches for $7 (caprese, marinated salmon, sausage); omelettes; salads for $8 (farro, arugula); and pastas for $12. There’s a wine and beer menu, with a happy hour from 4-8 p.m. Also a selection of pastries and desserts. For now, Bricia is cash only with hours from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. (the restaurant is closed from 4-7 tonight for a private party). At the moment, it’s cash only.
Previously, Marm Cafe was in this spot at 79 Clinton St. and Falai Bakery before that.
